chapter 7 
1)1Scout's second year of school starts. Jem and Scout find soap dolls, twine and chewing gum and a watch. Also a spelling bee medal. They go back to put a note in the tree, but find the hole concreted shut by Nathen. Jem Go's back to get his pants and thay are foulded and clened. Jem gos to bed crying

Chapter 8
1) Jem and Scout find that it is snowing in Macom. School is cancelled- snow day. They haul snow from Miss. Maudie's yard to the Finch household. Scout and Jem build a snowman of snow and mud. Miss Maudie's house catches fire. jem and scot are toled to go to the front of the radily place Boo Radley comes out of his house to give Scout a blanket.
